my creative space… experimenting with crochet

for those who know me a little

this will not be any surprise

you know how much i love new things

i mean making new things

 

i made this necklace after playing with dorset buttons

i bought from big blue bed

alix makes those handmade petit dorset buttons

and sells them in her etsy shop

and i had an idea from the day i saw them first time

it is now available in my etsy shop

last night i had my little time

i love when kids go to bed

husband goes out

and i can enjoy the silence

so i had a little fun drawing

long time no drawing for me

but i really love doodling like that

all my books at college

were covered in little patterns, butterflies, flowers and ornaments

what I am working on recently

takes all my spare time

but there are commissions, something for myself and something for the future of my shop

i am making now 4th pair of those elegant

long crochet opera gloves, but this is the second pair that is going to be long up to the

upper arm

exciting project 🙂

some of the buttons are so tiny but so perfect and that are the ones i love)

i have an idea to make some very nice jewellery

but this is an ever-changing idea

and ever-growing so i don’t know when i am going to have results

this is the moebius scarf in my way

i designed it myself and it is for me to wear

it is nearly finished

started with some cute pattern form japanese crochet book

rest is my idea for the finishing

 

those happy moments

i love to spend time with my children

i love to watch how they grow play discover create…

 

 

one of those moments was yesterday

and they made me happy yesterday quite a few times as well 🙂

sometimes i think the are more inventive and creative than me

my son’s dinner always has to look different

this is just sunday roasted chicken, veggies and mashed potatoes

(the plate isn’t finished yet, we missing some gravy here – he added this later 🙂 )

 

 

don’t ask me why

but be sure this happens at every meal 😉

my creative space…

I am sitting at home today as I thought I broke my toe, went to the hospital to check it and fortunately there is nothing broken, only badly bruised and will have to stay at home for a few more days… so I did make couple of flowers for the necklace i designed

today is thursday so i am sharing my creative space photo with everyone at Kootoyoo’s blog, go and see more spaces and enjoy…

I finished a lovely turquoise necklace and pair of earrings which I am going to take with me to a We Make London craft fair next month and I hope some more in different colors too
