Recently I decided to try and offer crochet sessions in our Craft Coop Shop in Maidenhead, you can make something really easy or a little bit more complicated, you can get help with your own project that you are stuck with. Every Wednesday morning from 10:30am to 12:30pm I am there working on my crochet projects.
The choice is for now:
Make cute crochet bow – the bow can be great addition to mittens or a hat or you can make it as hair clip or anything you like – £6 per session, materials and all the help included
Make a crochet flower lariat – flower itself can be sewn onto a scarf, a hat or made into a brooch, but we can make a crochet lariat that can play a role of skinny scarf in the colder days – £6 per session, all materials and help included.
And for next week, 1st July Wednesday 2015, from 10:30am to 12:30pm, I would like to invite you all to make this useful tea light holder that can be hung in the garden when partying outside in the Summer – £10 per session, all materials and help included

LATEST FEEDBACK:
Recently made those and shipped to a customer, who wrote to me after receiving them: "The bracelets and necklace are beautiful!!! I absolutely love them. I'm going to have to commission you for more when I get back from States. I don't even want to give the one you made me for my friend, because I love it so much! We will have to make another one.
Thank you so much, and talk to you soon. J."
...and this is why I love making things for people :)

i have not wished all you my lovely readers happy new year so here it is, my happy new year post just in time for new year celebrations in chinese spirit
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
many things changed last year that made me not wanting or not finding the time to blog at all, i am going to explain them all soon, but not to bore you in one post i will start with something that is in the same spirit as my whole post
last year i took part in Chinese Whispers Chain campaign
run and organized by dhl and all would be perfect if i only could find the time to do things on time… i have received the lovely bunny from shalini and i had to make something for the next person in the chain anna, we all had to keep up the theme so the thing we made had to be connected with the thing we received.
it was kind of interesting watching how people react to received item and how it inspires them to create their item, so if you have a spare moment go and visit all the creative people and their makes here on the pinterest board created by dhl express.
Shalini – the very creative wire jewellery maker made this pretty (must not say cute) bunny that is gonna be our easter decoration very soon
and what i made after receiving the bunny? you guessed right two bunnies 🙂 and they went to Anna
thank you for visiting me again
and hopefully see you again soon

i have some photos from yesterday’s market at old spitalfields market
🙂
as an exhibitor (my first that big event) I got few complimentary tickets to give away to my friends and customers, few went to friends, few to customers and I thought that maybe some of you would like to go and see how things work or just go and browse for gifts or gifts ideas, The Country Living Christmas Fair takes place in Business Design Centre in Islington from 30th October until 3rd November, the tickets are to be used any day but Saturday (2nd November)
so if you would like to visit the fair on wednesday, thursday, friday or sunday please leave a comment under this post and spread the world, the more people know – the better 🙂
there is a chance to have more than one entry, but you need to share it on your blog, fb page or twitter and to make sure i have seen it you can use tag #izabelamotyl on twitter, or send me a message with the link to your blog post (fb posts are a mystery to me, but you can try to tag me too @izabela motyl 🙂 or share it with me on pm)
i will have a little draw on sunday 20th october, no idea what time, so let’s say you have time until end of saturday, some late entries may also be considered 🙂
have a lovely weekend and a very creative week

just changed my life again, completely…
not that i complain, but it would be nice to at least, for once, be relaxed
my little business has grown a bit more this year, i work at school now almost full time (that changed two weeks ago, got offered more hours and said yes)
i should be happy, but to make things more difficult for myself i said yes to something else too, do you remember the time from january this year?
i was contacted by her again and said yes, so it seems that i have two full time jobs and two part time jobs, no time to sleep, no time to feel anything
can you tell me why everything has to happen at the same time, why where you are looking to find a job you can’t find anything and when you finally find something you get to choose? i don’t want to choose i still want my crocheting business to grow, i want to work at school with children and i want to freelance weaving beautiful jewellery… and be a mum… i don’t want to give up anything…
so decided to give some work to people that can crochet and would like to do some crochet to earn some extra income in their spare time, if this is you or you know anyone, please contact me through my email at: iz dot igna at gmail dot com
i cannot pay a lot, but trust me it is nice and easy crochet 🙂
i am just too tired to do everything 🙂

there is two photos of my jewellery at my latest fair:
i don’t know how much i have already told you (not much knowing my lack of time, but i am sorry)
but i have decided that this year is my year, after all big changes from the beginning of the year
i am going with the flow and planning to participate in some huge events next year
and of course one huge this year and few smaller ones
let’s start from the most further one (which has been recommended to me by one of my talented friends met at old spitalfields market – Karolina the owner, designer and maker from Bobbin & Bow) – just planned at the moment, but already starting with application process to exhibit at Pulse London trade show in Earls Court in may
already confirmed my place at Top Drawer trade show in Earls Court in January, so if you are there between 12th and 14th please come to my booth Y15 and say hello
this year my biggest event is Country Living Magazine Christmas Show in Business Design Centre in Islington from 30th october till 3rd november and you are very welcome to visit my stand, i am taking part in this together with my friends from Craft Coop so this will be our big story 🙂
that is not all folks, as for the first time i am taking part in Renegade Craft Fair in London on the 9th and 10th of november and i will be sharing a stall with Paper Moon
you can also find me with Designers Makers on the 16th november and 21st december at the Old Spitalfields Market for some winter shopping
and this coming weekend is all busy as for the third time i will be taking part in London Thames Festival at Bernie Spain Gardens together with We Make Londoners on Saturday and Sunday and i hope i see some of you there 🙂

check some of my projects in progress on my pinterest board when you have time
