Retro Festival

yesterday we went to white waltham airfield to see

the most beautiful old cars and steam engines and planes at the retro festival

my heart was melting every few steps as we walked around the field

i really liked old cars and their matching caravans

summer holidays

i sent two bigger kids back to poland for holiday

i miss them so much already

but i know they are in good hands with their grandmother

and all cousins

there is so much to do waiting on my list

and i cannot really say the list is getting any shorter

for one thing i do there is two things coming in

is there anyway that someone can manage everything on his own?

i don’t think so

but if any of you know any way to do that

i would much appreciate if you told me

there is new pattern in my shop for those who like my designs

another pair of slippers

just off the hook and sent off

lilac crochet slippers with black rose

can be made in many different colors as well

find then in my pretty crochet shop

longer tunic, actually dress

just finished and picked by a friend

custom longer version of the top i made few times

this longer one looks so good that i will definitely have to make more

and in different colors

my birthday

it was my birthday on monday

and as always

i had loads of chocolates, breakfast in bed and dinner was made for me as well

beautiful day

lovely lacy pattern to adorn your feet when not wearing shoes

to make them you need:

2-ply soft cotton yarn (my favorite is clea1000 by circulo yarns)

2mm crochet hook

2 medium size beads (optional)

pattern is worked in rounds and is in one piece

doesn’t involve sewing at all

she is mad about buttons

 petronella makes very original clothing and accessories and sells on etsy too

one of petronella’s shops

i really think that you need a lot of imagination to makes things like that

and a lot of patience

the things that she sent me are finished to a very high quality

so this is not just any shop with buttony creations

this is a good shop

anyway i got a keyring that went straight away onto my keys

and my kids have taken a bag each

my daughter has also reserved the rest of accessories

but i am not sure if she can have them

…the blanket is almost finished

only (?) weaving loose ends to do

hmm not too bad i think but annoying

and i agree with some of you

that left the comment here that the colors are really pretty

i think i would be very happy with a blanket like that at my place

but this one soon of to new home

and this poor bird got caught at our home

when we left the door to patio opened

it is really windy here for last two days

like really, like leaves falling from the trees when they just started growing not long ago

like birds being just thrown inside your house suddenly

i mean at least that is what i think has happened

he could fly at home and he was trying to hide everywhere

not letting me see him nor catch him

but in the end

he got his freedom, i hope he is ok

because we saw him flying away…

they measure about 2cm in diameter plus 1.5cm earwire
