>two weeks ago I got new bike… today Little One had his first bike journey…
only photo report, as he is teething and not giving me much time for blogging 😦

Thursday and Friday I went back to work, so two very busy days for me and Hubby… I was exhausted after first day but it was even worst next day as Little One started teething and we both couldn`t sleep at all… It is Sunday and I still need sleep and he is still so restless…
and even I really enjoy my work, the money is not great, so I am not going to start full time at all… before pregnancy I used to work 60 hours a week because it was nice and actually I was having fun there… and my children were most of the time at school. I can do two days making flowers, and spend rest of the week at home trying to find different way to earn some revenue, for example crafting… anyway we shall see in a year how it is working… having two kids in school age is not the same as having two kids at school and one crawling on the carpet… I wish I could make some money being at home with them…
well have look what I did at work:
amarylis, spiral bamboo, sunflowers, anthurium, bear grass and papirus… (I love amarylis, when I did my first day at florist there I had red amarylis Red Lion and Royal Velvet – and now first day after having baby – similar flowers, ha)
amarylis, spiralny bambus, sloneczniki, anturium, trawa i papirus… (uwielbiam amarylisy, kiedy przyszlam tu do florystek tez byl amarylis Red Lion i Royal Velvet – i teraz pierwszy dzien po przerwie macierzynskiej – podobne kwiaty, ha)
and this is what we like to do on Sunday: (not every Sunday of course ;] )
>I do not have too much time recently – CHILDREN!, but I just came up with this beautiful crochet flower idea and have been making a few…
later I am going to add some leaves and embellishments to it and make them as brooches to take with me to the fair… as well I am really trying to write down the pattern but I never did it before so I am a bit afraid
pozniej mam zamiar jakos je przyozdobic liscmi i aplikacjami i zrobic z nich broszki i zabrac na kiermasz… probuje tez spisac na nie wzor ale nigdy tego nie robilam i troche mnie to przeraza…
and I decided that I want to make a crochet skirt, a long skirt… something like a couple of years ago were seen on the catwalks and were quite popular… I never made any but I think they are still nice… of course I do not like to follow ready patterns too much (only a bit ;] ) so if you want to know where this pattern is from – watch this space…
first of all I love vintage… I love vintage doilies, old lace patterns so I found the very nice table cloth pattern and decided to make my skirt from it…
this is where I am now:
>first I just want to say thanks to all of you leaving comments and telling interesting stories about crochet… I really really enjoyed reading them…
and how was it with me?
I always remember the beautiful little crochet dresses me and my sister wore and everyone admired
I miss that time… and learning to crochet in her garden full of roses and other flowers… and her violin what she was trying to teach me to play as well (I still have it in Poland, must not forget to bring them here…) this is what I love about crochet the most… memories
and of course a texture it makes untold number of patterns…
and is so easy to follow…
i oczywiscie faktura, tworzy nieopisana liczbe wzorow…
i jest takie proste…

X Vintage Violet X from maximum RABBIT designs said about combination colors and black in granny square blanket – thats just a classic and it is lovely, I never made any yet but I made many squares and they are hidden somewhere in my wardrobe, waiting to be dug one day to make blanket…
Jagienka gave me her point of view that crochet is easy to take with you everywhere, you don`t loose full row when you loose a hook in a bag like with knitting and she finds it easier than knitting as well… (I am sending you info about pattern to your ravelry mail ;] )
Susanne Iles thinks the same about crochet as me and Jagienka… and I just fell in love with her artistic work… it is so inspiring… (I added you to my bookmarks as well :] )
Stitchlily, another crocheter from Ireland, said that “one little hook, so many projects, so little time! ” I strongly agree with that! she loves to crochet and you can see that in her creations (I like your Mad Hat, ha)
KittyKat is a crochet lover like me and this discipline goes first before knitting… I like knitting as well but I really don`t know why is so hard to finish the knitted item to me… it takes ages…
Primrose Corner, how good is that: when you can make nice soft clothes and you can make unique wire jewelry using crochet hook as well… I love my hooks, too and I buy new ones to never run out of them!
Cathy H loves it versatility and speed, I hope you will enjoy crochet again as it more popular now and you can make so many different things… (your butterfly is flying to you this afternoon)
Beti my husband could not believe me when I said that even a crochet hook has got its own Big Day…
Vonnie can crochet and knit but feels better with knitting needles, I think you just need to give it some time! ;]
Incywincy so we have got something in common then… I always take crochet hook with me whenever I go… I can knit but not so often and mostly at home…
Hannah do not worry You were not too late for a draw… is the random generator that did not choose you but I hope you will enjoy your crochet more and more everyday… you very welcome to ask me as many questions about crochet as you want 😉
>ok I did it for the first time (and I really wanted to use different method to do it, but I didn`t feel too good last night)
I used random list generator to find the winner of my little give away
and…
has been drawn to choose one of my butterflies, Cathy please let me know as well if you want it attached as a keyring or a pin ;]
Cathy makes lovely bags from a very nice recycled fabrics… you can find her blog here…
uzylam generatora do wylosowania szczesliwca i… Cathy moze sobie wybrac jednego z moich motylkow, Cathy szyje fajne torby z uzywanych wczesniej materialow i jej blog mozna znalezc tu…

just found out about the newest crochet tradition reading one of my favorite blogs about crochet – SkaMama`s Bone Hook and if I remember this only second year since it has been introduced…
so, to spread the love to crochet all over, I am going to crochet in the public tomorrow (I am not gonna teach any of my kids cause I tried already – they don`t have the patience…)
and I am going to have the first give away on my blog: just leave the comment under this post, answering the question: (you do not have to be from UK, it is international candy!)
the draw will be on Saturday night so you still have got plenty of time to do so…
and the winner will choose one of those lovely crochet butterfies I am making recently, you can sew them onto something or use it as a brooch or pin it to the keyring… lots of possibilities – can`t wait to read from you…
>…traditionally we were welcoming autumn collecting chestnuts, then at home we could play with it…
my son said “mum I made a bird!” and indeed, he made one:
my daughter decided to make a necklace, but never finished, yet…
>I took part in Claire`s Robot Swap…
I know that this is not maybe my subject (why not, actually I used to love math and geometry) but since I am a mum of two boys (and one girl, obviously) I have to think sometimes like one`s mum… no flowers, butterflies, kittens and all the other stuff but simple robot…
I came up with an idea of a keyring with a robot attached to and as I bought some polymer clay to play with, I decided to sculpt one…
it has taken me hours to make it and I am not too happy with the effect, idea was good but quite difficult to get what I wanted…
I just hope that Caroline will like it, cause I absolutely like the one from her I got in the post…
