>I HAVEN`T FINISHED YET…

by izabela

>I haven`t finished with my blogging yet… just being busy and spending so much time carrying my little boy, playing with him and trying to make him happy… it is not an easy baby – I never know what is wrong and what he wants… just cries and cries… I am tired like I never was…

well enough complaining… In the meantime I finished three pairs of mittens (new year – new sales ;]), I am almost done with black scarf and on my way with summer top… and as I love hats with brim I made another one…

and I was being creative – what means that I played with thread, this time the play was very challenging for me and I found my own crochet heart pattern but let me explain I was playing with a very fine cotton thread using hook 0.6 mm, this reminded me crochet edgings on my grandmother and my mum`s hand kerchiefs from ages ago… this was hard, I tell you after crocheting with a hook 4.00 mm and thick yarn but I am happy with result… (pattern to follow soon)

(wzor zamieszcze wkrotce)

I just recently found out that in Cambridge at the fair there will be another Polish crafter and crocheter – Ela (if anyone remembers more than a year ago I have been trying her great pattern for mittens – I still wear them…) check her blog to know what she`s up to and see her crochet work and pottery (lovely!)

niedawno dowiedzialam sie, ze w Cambridge na kiermaszu bedzie jeszcze jedna polska crafterka – szydelkomaniaczka – Ela (jesli ktos pamieta ponad rok temu wyprobowywalam jej wzor na mitenki – nadal je nosze…) zajrzyjcie na jej blog zeby zobaczyc co u niej slychac i obejrzec jej szydelkowe prace i ceramike (sliczna!)

and I am going there with Ania (I met her in Oxford, then we went together to Croydon craft fair and we are doing Handmade Cambridge craft fair together), she doesn`t have a blog yet (as far as I am up to date) but she does lovely crochet as well, so it means I am not going to be the only one :]

I put my name onto the owl swap, Apryl is having this great fun swap on her blog… and as one of my boys is an owl lover I thought this is great opportunity to make something for him as well…
